The Liquid Gauge in the KPI tool offers a dynamic and visually engaging way to represent progress, capacity, or performance levels using fluid-like motion. This highly customizable chart helps users effectively showcase key metrics with an intuitive and modern design. Below is a detailed guide to its features and settings.

Here's a quick guide to create Liquid Gauge in KPI:

Data Tab

Gauge Value

  • Actual/Target Mode: Use this mode to display the gauge based on actual and target values, providing a clear comparison.

  • Gauge Value Mode: Use this mode to input percentage values directly for display.

Actual

  • Select a value field to represent the actual value in the gauge.

Target

  • From Data: Select a field from your dataset to define the target value.

  • Fixed: Enter a constant value to serve as the target.

  • Target Field (Only available in the From Data method): Specify the field representing the target value when using the From Data option.


Gauge Tab

  • Set the primary color for the gauge and apply dynamic conditional formatting to make the gauge responsive to your data.

Animation Checkbox

  • Enable or disable the wave animation to create a liquid effect on the gauge.

Center Content

  • Toggle On/Off: Show or hide the center content in the gauge.

  • Center Content Color: Set the text color for the center content.

  • Center Content Fill Color: Define the color that appears as the gauge fills up.

Font Family

  • Choose the font style for the center content text to match your report's design.

Auto Font Size Toggle (On/Off)

  • Enable or disable automatic adjustment of the font size for center content based on the gauge's dimensions.
