Axis Settings
In Powerviz heatmaps, axis settings allow you to customize the appearance and behavior of the x and y axes, including labels and title formatting. These settings help tailor the heatmap’s layout for clearer data presentation and improved readability.
X-Axis
Position: Set the position of the X-axis to either Top or Bottom.
Title
Auto Title: Disable this to enter a manual title.
Font Family: Choose the font family for the title.
Styling: Apply Bold, Italic, or Underline.
Font Size: Set a custom font size.
Background Color: Enable to add a background color to the title.
Label
Font Family: Select the font family for axis labels.
Styling: Apply Bold, Italic, or Underline.
Font Size: Set a custom font size.
Background Color: Enable to add a background color to labels.
Auto Label Tilt: Disable to specify a manual tilt angle for labels.
Auto Label Character Limit: Disable to set a custom character limit for labels.
Date Format: When dates are included, auto-date formatting will be enabled. Choose from preset options or use the custom option.
Y-Axis
Position
