The Cell Colors feature in the Filter settings provides extensive options for customizing the color scheme of your visual. You can apply colors globally across all levels or customize them by the hierarchy level, ensuring that each part of your visual is styled according to your preferences. Below is a detailed guide to each option available in the Cell Colors settings.

Apply Styles

The Apply Styles section offers two modes for customizing cell colors:

  1. Global: Applies a uniform color scheme across all levels.

  2. By Level: Customizes colors based on the level of hierarchy.

Global Cell Colors

The Global Cell Colors option allows you to set a consistent color scheme for all cells in your visual. Here’s an overview of the options:

Default:

  • Text: Set the default color for text in all cells.

  • Icon: Choose the default color for icons displayed in the cells.

  • Background: Set the default background color for cells.

Selected:

  • Text: Define the color for text when a cell is selected.

  • Icon: Choose the color for icons when a cell is selected.

  • Background: Set the background color for selected cells.

Partially Selected:

  • Text: Set the text color for cells that are partially selected.

  • Icon: Choose the color for icons in partially selected cells.

  • Background: Define the background color for partially selected cells.

Mouseover:

  • Text: Set the color of text when the mouse hovers over a cell.

  • Icon: Choose the icon color when the mouse hovers over a cell.

  • Background: Define the background color that appears when hovering over a cell.

Alternate Row Colors:

  • Text: Set a different text color for alternate rows, providing a contrasting look.

  • Background: Choose a different background color for alternate rows to visually separate them from other rows.

By Level Cell Colors

The By Level Cell Colors option offers more granular control, allowing you to customize colors for each level of the hierarchy. This is ideal for distinguishing between different levels in your visual.

Default:

  • Text: Set the default text color for each level.

  • Icon: Choose a default icon color for each level.

  • Background: Define the background color for each level.

Selected:

  • Text: Specify the text color for selected cells at each hierarchy level.

  • Icon: Choose the icon color for selected cells at each level.

  • Background: Set the background color for selected cells at each level.

Partially Selected:

  • Text: Set the text color for partially selected cells at each level.

  • Icon: Choose the icon color for partially selected cells at each level.

  • Background: Define the background color for partially selected cells at each level.

Mouseover:

  • Text: Specify the text color when the mouse hovers over cells at each level.

  • Icon: Choose the icon color that appears on the mouseover for each level.

  • Background: Set the background color on the mouseover for each level.
