The Cell Style feature in the Filter Advanced settings allows you to customize the appearance of each item in your visual, giving you full control over the font, alignment, and other styling options. Below is a detailed guide to each option available in the Cell Style settings.
The Apply Styles section offers two main modes for styling your cells:
Global: Applies a uniform style across all levels.
By Level: Customizes styles based on the level of hierarchy.
The Global Style option allows you to set a consistent look for all items within your visual. Here's a breakdown of the available options:
Adjust the font size for both the category and the value. You have the option to set individual sizes for each if desired.
Same Text Size for Category & value Checkbox - We can set different sizes for Category and value by unchecking this checkbox
Choose the font family for the category and value. You can select different font families for each to distinguish between them.
Same Font Family for Category & value Checkbox - We can set different Font families for Category and value by unchecking this checkbox
Bold: Make the text bold for emphasis.
Italic: Italicize the text for a stylized appearance.
Underline: Underline the text to highlight key information.
Left: Align the category text to the left.
Center: Center the category text within its cell.
Right: Align the category text to the right.
Left: Align the value text to the left.
Center: Center the value text within its cell.
Right: Align the value text to the right.
Enable word wrap to ensure text fits within the cell without being cut off. This is useful for longer text entries. (Checkbox option)
Adjust the row height to fit the content or to provide a more compact or spacious layout.
Add dividers between rows to visually separate them. You can customize:
Size: Set the thickness of the dividers.
Color: Choose a color for the dividers.
Only For Parent Level: Option to apply dividers only to parent-level items, distinguishing them from child-level entries. (Checkbox option)

The By Level option offers advanced customization, allowing you to set different styles for each level of hierarchy. This is particularly useful when you want to differentiate between parent and child levels.
As with the global setting, you can set individual font sizes for categories and values at each hierarchy level.
Choose a font family specific to each level, providing the visual distinction between different levels.
Bold: Apply bold styling to make certain levels stand out.
Italic: Italicize text at certain levels for differentiation.
Underline: Underline text for emphasis at specific levels.
